The amphibian aircraft LA-8 has been constructed by the experts of scientific-production association «AeroVolga» in 2004.

In 2005 LA-8 was for the first time presented at the International Aviation and Space Salon - "MAKS-2005".

In 2006 the aircraft was presented at the exhibition in Gelendzhik.

At MAKS 2007 the modified version of LA-8 S was represented.
