June
8-13 of June, “Aerovolga” was presented on one of the biggest european international shows ILA-2010 Berlin, Germany. “Aerovolga” had a stand in Hall 10, and was the only private Russian company presented in the show. A lot of meetings with partners and potential clients were conducted within the framework of the show.
May
La-8 (factory plate 006) trials were conducted in Volga river estuary for delivery of fishing tourists directly to the fishing spot, to fish from the aircraft or inflatable boats. Fisherman has the possibility to retreat 50-100km in 30 min, and thus there is confidence in perspective of such aircraft for fishing tourism.
April
Scientific and Production Association «AeroVolga» represented its amphibian aircraft LA-8 on its own stand AERO-2010 – Europe’s foremost Trade show for General Aviation which was arranged in the city of Friedrichshafen, Germany.
Our partners from Switzerland had helped with stand dressing and its work. On the products advertised by Scientific and Production Association AEROVOLGA there was an emblem of Samara region – our information partner as well as an emblem of DOSAAF of Russia - our partner in our work with young people.Visitors to the Exhibition displayed interest in LA-8 aircraft and LA-8LRS (oceanic version).
There were carried on talks with the suppliers of Lycoming and Lom Praga engines, propellers and other equipment.
Some protocols regarding the sale of aircraft to South-East Asia, Africa an Australia were made up.
The Exhibition itself was organized on top level.
In June 8 -13th, 2010 LA-8 will be shown in ICA, Berlin.
March
Scientific and production association AeroVolga took part in the second International Civil Aircraft Exhibition and Conference “Aviation in India 2010” in Hyderabad. The colors of the flag of Russia upheld there only two enterprises - Joint stock company “OAK” represented by Voronezh plant with AN-148 and scientific and production association AeroVolga. Potential customers (charter companies) showed great interest in LA-8. The talks hold with the representatives of federal and local authorities revealed great interest towards LA-8 production in the establishing industrial offshore zone and intentions of Indian authorities to help us with aircraft certification in every way possible.

February
Aircraft LA-8, factory number 006 got certificate of airworthiness.
Assembly of the next aircraft began. Estimated release date is 15^th of May, 2010.
January
Aircraft with serial number 002 arrived to the factory for scheduled maintenance and service bulletins release after three years of operation.
The aircraft has been kept in an open air place for three years.
Aircraft inspection showed good state of the airframe, its control systems, landing gear and power plant.
2009
An overhaul of the aircraft Cessna was accomplished at the plant with full repainting in a painting chamber.
Aircraft LA-8, factory number 006 had been tested and given to the Customer. The aircraft is of a new modification, Lycoming engines, MT propellers, EFIS DYNON, improved aerodynamics and it has proved set-up performance characteristics.
2008
At present the main task of the enterprise is to obtain the type certificate for the plane LA-8. The type certificate corresponds entirely to FAR-23.
Test-flights of LA-8 continue according to the plant program at the Airdrom-plant Complex Krasny Yar.
A small-lot production is launched, the stock of orders is entirely formed for 2008 and the first six months of the 2009.
2007
In September the works moved from the rented areas to its own Airdrom-plant Complex Krasny Yar of the Samara Region. The runway: asphalt – 400 meters, grass – 800 mteers. The increase of the asphalt coat up to 1200 meters is planned.
In August the scientific-production association „AeroVolga“ took part in the International Aviation-cosmic show MACS-2007. Two planes LA-8 arrived at their own static stop, having confirmed the declared flying and technical characteristics. The show proved that both professionals and amateurs are much interested in the amphibian.
The developmental work of LA-8D (distant) is started for the participation in the round-the-world oceanic flight. The length of the air travel will make about 60 thousand kilometers. The main purpose of the flight is to demonstrate the Russian character, to spread the spirit of Olympic games 2014 in Sochi in the most remote sides of the world, to show the aviation techniques and to confirm the status of Russia as an aviation power.
In April the LTD scientific-production association „AeroVolga“ took part in the International Aviation show AERO-2007 in Germany (Froedrichsaphen).
2006
Licenses for the scientific-production association „AeroVolga“ are obtained from the Federal Industrial Agency of Russia for the working-up, production and repair of the dual-purpose aviation techniques of the normal category.
In September the scientific-production association „AeroVolga“ took part in the International Aviation Show of the Hydro Aviation in Gelendzhik. In the framework of the participation in the aviation show, flight factory tests were carried out in the offshore zone (bay of Gelendzhik). The plane LA-8 confirmed the declared characteristics in the taking-off and landing on the sea wave up to 0.5 meters.
August. Factory tests of the plane are carried out with more capacious engines Ì-337Ñ (250 h.p.) and two-blade propellers.
The plane confirmed the declared characteristics, and, in spite of the increased capacity up to 86 h.p., the fuel consumption an hour reduced thanks to a new fuel system of the engine.
2005
In October in Krasnoyarsk District of Samara Region the scientific-production association „AeroVolga“ started building its Airdrom-plant Complex for the production of LA-8 planes.
On the base of „AeroVolga“ preliminary flight and construction tests of the amphibian LA-8 are carried out by specialists of the flight-research instate named after Gromov. According to the results of the tests a conclusion is made: the plane is safe for the pilotage by a pilot with an middle level of preparation.
In August the amphibian LA-8 occupied a worthy place at the International Aviation-cosmic show MACS-2005. Factory tests preceding to this event showed an entire correspondence of the LA-8 to the declared flying and technical characteristics. The information on the LA-8 is published in the international hand-book «Jane's» (all the World's Aircraft 2005–2006)
At the sitting of the mock-up committee a certification basis is approved (according to AR 21,23). The plane LÀ-8 is acknowledged a corresponded one to the declared type.
2004
The first flight tests of the LA-8 were carried out successfully. The takeoff from the water airdrome showed good characteristics: exit to the glideslope is 45 km/h, take-off is 90 km/h, the length of the start of an empty plane is 200 meters.
The application to the International Aviation Committee for the type certificate of the aircraft – eight-place amphibian LA-8 is filed. Certification works are carried out according to Russian aviation rules (ÀR-23,21) correspondent to international FAR; JAR.
2003
The project of the LÀ-8 is laid (took part in the International Aviation-cosmic show MACS-2003). It’s an eight-place amphibian.
2002
Foundation of the Company. Developmental work, tests of the prototype of the six-place L-6.
